The Dutch MOMENTUM Microplastics and Human Health project brought together over 25 partners from academia, medicine, industry, policy and non-governmental organisations over the last 4 years. The goal of our project was to unravel the human health effects of microplastics and nanoplastics and to propose solutions to minimize their potential health impact.

Join us in Utrecht for the final meeting of this exciting project!

At our Scientific Conference on 30 June, we will present the latest research findings on the effects of micro- and nanoplastics on human health. The programme will include contributions from both MOMENTUM partners and other international experts in the field. It is possible to present your own work on microplastics at a poster session.

On Tuesday morning, 1 July, we will bring together researchers and other stakeholders from the microplastics field for a Stakeholder Meeting. We will present some of the main research results of the MOMENTUM project and elaborate on different solution pathways developed in MOMENTUM to reduce the effects of microplastics on our health. We will engage in conversation on how to put this knowledge and these solutions into practice.
