MOMENTUM Scientific Conference

The high temperatures in Utrecht did not discourage our scientists from sharing their latest findings on microplastics and human health at the MOMENTUM Scientific Conference on June 30.

The conference welcomed over 130 attendees who enjoyed insightful presentations, posters, and discussions. The programme featured sessions on micro- and nanoplastics characterisation and dosimetry, exposure, toxicology, and risk assessment. We also heard from some of the rising stars in the MOMENTUM-NL cluster who took the stage to pitch their posters.

We were honoured to welcome international experts in the field who gave inspiring keynote presentations. Many thanks to Philip Demokritou, Matt Campen, and Andrea Haase for presenting their work and triggering engaging discussions.

A big thanks also to the other speakers from the MOMENTUM-NL cluster, poster presenters, panel members, and all other attendees for their contributions to this inspiring day full of science.
