Modeling invisible plastics

By now, you probably know what nano- and microplastics are. Yes, very very small pieces of plastic. They are thought to originate from a variety of human activities, like cosmetics, clothing, industrial processes, and recycling. They are finding their way into all places on the planet, our land, seas and in living creatures, such as fish. Recently, they have also been found in human placentas.
