Since 2005, Dr. Westerink is heading the Neurotoxicology Research Group at the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS, Utrecht University). He is past-President of the International Neurotoxicology Association (INA; 2017-2019) and Editor in Chief of NeuroToxicology (Elsevier) since 2017.
