Ingeborg is working at TNO as a senior scientist/project leader in the field of inhalation toxicology. In addition she has a honorary appointment at the University of Maastricht. She has a background in molecular sciences (cum laude), and obtained a PhD (1999) in biochemistry at University of Amsterdam. She has worked at Unilever Research Vlaardingen and the National Institute of Health and Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands before she joined TNO in 2007. She followed the post-graduate education in toxicology, resulting in a European registration as toxicologist.
