The main expertise of Adriënne J.A.M. Sips lies in pharmacokinetics of substances both in the field of chemicals as well in the field of medicines. Adriënne has vast experience as manager within RIVM, as a policy advisor to link scientific and regulatory issues to policy agendas. She was one of the founders of the European research field for nanosafety. Over the last years she has developed new concepts as Safe by Design for nanomaterials, Regulatory Preparedness for improving the link between developing regulatory safety issues and innovation processes.
